Sparkle’z Bakery Guarantee

Sparkle’z Bakery is dedicated to making and creating fresh baked goods. All baked goods are from scratch. We are a home cottage bakery following and working under all the current Wisconsin Cottage Guidelines. Being a home cottage bakery does not require us to be a state licensed or inspected facility. We appreciate your business and we look forward to working with you on your custom non- licensed creation for your special event. I do not cover cakes in Fondant. We will however use fondant in some decorating which can easily be removed before cutting the baked item.   We guarantee that the flavors, size, colors and overall design of your order will be met to the best of our ability. If for some reason you are not satisfied with you order/s please let us know immediately upon receipt of your order. Once your order has been accepted by you or another proxy, refunds will no longer be considered. Sparkle’z Bakery has basic pricing guidelines however; there may be price changes due to a design of an individual order depending on the design. All basic prices are subject to change due to increase in prices of ingredients/packaging. Each order will include a paper copy of invoice, business card and ingredients of product either on product packaging or on an ingredient card. Please continue reading the sections below for additional important information.

  1. Sparkle’z Bakery Allergy Disclaimer

Sparkle’z Bakery is not a gluten or nut free facility. These items are used within the kitchen. Please be aware that we have strict guidelines to prevent cross contact/contamination, however; there is still a possibility/risk of any allergen. All allergens are listed on the labels which will be placed on the packaging of the baked good/s. Please inform the bakery during the ordering/inquiry process if there are any allergies that we should be aware of to see if we will be able to accommodate you. This bakery does not make gluten free baked goods.

  1. Sparkle’z Bakery Design/Color Variations

There are many different brands of colorants out on the market for edible decorating. Even though we will make every effort to get the color/s you request there may be a variation in color matching as shades/colors vary with the colorant itself, the type of frosting/icing/batter/dough/ being used. Even lighting can affect the final product. Please be aware that exposure to certain indoor lighting and sun exposure can have an impact on your baked goods color. This can result in fading or color changes. If for some reason that Sparkle’z Bakery needs to make a major color change to your original design we will communicate this with the client via text, email, voice or FB messenger to submit for a color re-design approval.

  1. Sparkle’z Care and Handling

All baked goods will be packaged accordingly. We use a variety of types of packaging from food safe plastic domes, bags and cardboard boxes. All cookies will be individually cellophaned wrapped and heat sealed shut unless prior arrangements are made. Muffins will be cellophaned wrapped and heat sealed upon request for an additional fee. We are not responsible for any damages to your product/s in your order after pick up or set-up if applicable. All clients are responsible for providing tables/counters that are secure and safe to place baked goods. This includes a proper environment for the baked goods to be stored/set up/displayed in. Some desserts can be heavier than others so therefore needing a sturdy/stable located on. All baked goods should be kept in a location having a temperature of 75 degrees or below. All Sparkle’z Bakery items are shelf stable however I do not recommend displaying or storing outside. All baked items should not be placed in a freezer after pick up or before set up by the client. There is no need to refrigerate baked goods if kept in the optimal temperature location mentioned above.  If you the client/proxy elect to pick up/transport/set up all baked goods within the order, you/they will assume all liabilities and responsibilities for the condition of the order once it leaves Sparkle’z Bakeries possession. If fresh florals are used on any part of the order after it leaves the possession of Sparkle’z Bakery it is the client's responsibility to be aware of the safe food practices/guidelines/usages. The client should consult a florist with and concerns or guidelines using fresh flowers. Sparkle’z bakery does not use fresh flowers on any orders.

  1. Sparkle’z Delivery Terms

Delivery is free within a 25-mile radius of Sparkle’z Home Bakery. There is a delivery fee of $0.50 per mile after the initial 25-mile radius. This includes to and from venue location. Orders will be delivered/set-up 30 minutes to 3 hours prior to event. This arrangement will be made when ordering. Any outdoor location venues with no be set up any earlier than 30 minutes prior to event. As result there will be limitations to cake designs that are going to be in an outdoor event. If the client/proxy is not available to accept the delivery there will be a re-delivery fee for all orders including orders within the 25-mile radius due at the receipt of the goods/services. The 25-mile radius is will be a fee of $10 and the more than 25-mile radius is a fee of $25 along with an additional charge of $0.50 per mile milage to/from venue. All pick-ups have 1 hour past pick up time to be considered late. There will be a late fee of $10 due at the time of pick up for orders not picked up within that hour designated at time of order. The client must let the bakery know of any obstacles or road hazards that may hinder the delivery and quality of their order. There are always the possibilities of unavoidable circumstances which many effect the delay of delivery or quality of the order. These may include but not limited to all acts of God, a car accident, poor road conditions due to weather, detours not disclosed by client at time of order, or the accidental dropping of any part of the client's order. Sparkle’z Bakery cannot/will not be liable for more than the price of the baked good impacted as described in this order.

  1. Sparkle’z Bakery Photographing and Marketing

Sparkle’z respects the privacy of all their clients. We will not disclose their identity (photographs of people, last names, event details, venues, or contract details) without their permission. We reserve the right to photograph baked goods and use those photos at our discretion. This may include being used on our website, social media sites or any marketing materials. We reserve the right to announce on these site/materials the city/state in which they were taken. We also reserve the right to use these materials/photographs for display/promotion without any compensation to the client.

  1. Sparkle’z Bakery Payments/Deposits/Cancellation/Refunds

All orders require a minimum of 14-day notice. All wedding orders require a 60-day notice. Forms of payment accepted at this time are as follows: PayPal & Venmo or major credit card by using Wave or Square invoicing. This will be discussed at time of ordering. Cash is only accepted at Farmers Markets or pop-up events at this time. Exceptions are at the discretion of Sparkle’z Bakery. Please inquire during ordering process if special arrangements may need to be made prior to this invoice. All orders over $100 require 50% down deposit at the time of invoicing. All orders $99 and below must be paid in full at time of invoicing. The payment/deposit will place/hold your order on my books. All deposits (If applicable) will be deducted from the total amount due. Payments/Deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance (If Applicable) is due no less than 7 days prior to event/delivery date. Any changes to the order must have 7-days’ notice or more from the date of the event/delivery. All wedding order changes must have a 30- day notice prior to the event/delivery. Any changes that are made to the order that does not fall under these guidelines may result in additional fees, if we are able to make the changes on that short of a notice as time restraints and possible unforeseen issues with ingredients/packaging may occur. If the client adds on additional baked goods to the order they will be charged accordingly and the add on order will follow the same guidelines as original contract. Any changes being requested by client after the acceptance/acknowledgement of this contract cannot be guaranteed due to time restraints and possible supply issues. The client may pay for order in full at time of invoicing if they chose to do so for orders over $100. In case of cancellation as stated above all deposits/payments are non-refundable. If you need to cancel the order a credit will be applied to your account towards a future order with Sparkle’z Bakery. Credit will only be granted if order is cancelled more than 7 days before date of event. No credit will be given to orders due to cancellation 7 days or less to the date of event. Sparkle’z Bakery understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Any disputes will be at the discretion of Sparkle’z Bakery.

      Sparkle’z Bakery will not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for custom orders that meet our quality standards after the order has been delivered by the bakery representative/picked up by client and has been accepted by you or your proxy. If a refund, exchange, or credit is provided by Sparkle’z for any reason it will not be for more than the original cost of the order. All baked goods are the responsibility of the client once it leaves the hands of Sparkle’z Bakery. Any possible refund will not be accepted due to decorating style, color or shade difference or for decoration designs. All designs are custom made and we will not copy another bakery/decorator's work or use unauthorized licensed details or designs. All images submitted to Sparkle’z Bakery are for inspiration only. We love to be creative and want your order to reflect that. Flavors and textures of baked goods can vary from recipe. They also can be impacted by the temperature and climate it is in. Please be aware that not only flavors and textures of baked goods can be impacted by the climate/temp the design of the cake can as well. Flavors and textures of any baked good is subjective. Sparkle’z takes great pride in the things they bake/decorate so please be aware that we do test out recipes, taste ingredients and use quality ingredients for baking/decorating. Any refund will be at the discretion of Sparkle’z bakery and in the form of a credit for a future purchase. Sparkle’z Bakery may consider a credit due to the client in the case of flavor, size of product or the baked item does not meet the standards given above. If client is requesting a refund due to a texture or flavor issue, please be advised that you must return the baked good back to Sparkle’z Bakery within 24 hours of the event. If Sparkle’z Bakery finds the baked good not to meet our standards then a credit may be issued. Once again please understand that Sparkle’z Bakery cannot control if a baked goods texture, flavor, shape or design is affected by the weather conditions. We will only issue a refund if the product does not meet our quality standards.

Attention all potential clients that this contract is a legal binding agreement between Sparkle’z Home Bakery and yourself the client. I look forward to working with you and making your baked goods whether for fun or a special event.

She is available to help with all of your bakery needs and if she is unable to assist you, she will recommend another bakery that may assist you with that need.

Owner

Jeanne is the owner, creator, baker & decorator of Sparkle'z Bakery. She started her journey over 20 years ago and December of 2021 the bakery became a reality. A dream of hers for so many years and backed by the support of her husband and family she puts her all into everything she creates. She is a completely self-taught decorator, has 14 years' experience decorating in a commercial setting and she has been a home baker for 30 years. Jeanne married her lifetime companion Michael, last November of 2021, has 3 children and loves to travel with her husband. Besides baking her hobbies include gardening, reading and crafts. Her unique name for the bakery came from her husband as it is one of the two nicknames, he has given her. She loves it so much she incorporated that into the bakery.
